NEW YORK (August 7, 2000) – World Gaming Congress and Expo, the dominant international conference and trade show for the gaming industry, announced today record-breaking sales for booths and total exhibit space. This year the entire exhibit floor is expected to sell out for the first time in the show’s 14-year history.
World Gaming Congress Senior Vice President Brian Vargas said, “This year’s record sales for the World Gaming Congress emphasizes two critical points: Suppliers, operators and journalists are displaying more interest in gaming than at any time in history. The World Gaming Congress is being held at the Las Vegas Convention Center October 18-20. It is the world’s preeminent gaming industry conference and trade show, attracting more than 25,000 attendees from 80 countries.
