Pamela Hugill Brings Years of Industry Experience to GEM Sales Force
LAS VEGAS (October 1, 2002) - GEM Communications, producer of the world's leading gaming industry publications, announced that it has hired Pamela M. Hugill as its new Sales Manager for the Western U.S., which includes Las Vegas. Hugill will work alongside longtime GEM Sales Manager Floyd Sembler.
Hugill's hiring is the latest in GEM's ongoing efforts to strengthen its position as the worldwide gaming industry media leader, according to GEM President U.S. Ashley Smith.
"With more than 13 years of experience representing gaming industry suppliers, Pamela will bring to GEM an incredible wealth of industry knowledge and goodwill," Smith said. "She is well-respected for her thorough knowledge of our industry and for the tremendous relationships she has throughout the region."
Hugill spent three years with CashCode (US) as the Director of Business Development-Gaming. Prior to that she helped pave the way for Asahi Seiko to enter the Nevada market, serving as its Sales and Marketing Manager. She served on the board of directors of the Gaming Standards Association for three years, and is a member of the Casino Management Association.
Hugill said she is joining the GEM team at an exciting time.
