Deutsche Bank Securities To Be Exclusive Investment Banking Sponsor of American Gaming Summit 2003

AGS Sponsorship Affirms Deutsche Bank's Commitment to Gaming Industry

LAS VEGAS (August 6, 2002) - GEM Communications and law firm Lionel Sawyer & Collins are proud to welcome Deutsche Bank Securities Inc. as the exclusive Investment Banking sponsor of the Ninth Annual American Gaming Summit, January 9-10, 2003, at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.

Since its inception, AGS has provided the highest level of financial and legal information about premier companies serving the gaming industry. Attendees at AGS include institutional investors; top-level executives with the major gaming, lodging and leisure companies; elected public officials; appointed regulatory directors; financial managers; commercial vendors to these businesses; and stock brokers, all of whom have an interest in this rapidly expanding industry.

Deutsche Bank Securities Inc. was one of eight Investment Banking co-sponsors of the 2002 American Gaming Summit. For the 2003 event, the firm wanted to demonstrate a more meaningful commitment to the gaming industry by agreeing to be the event's exclusive sponsor, said Marc Falcone, Managing Director in the North American Equity Research Group responsible for covering gaming, lodging and leisure companies.

"Deutsche Bank is pleased to be the exclusive financial sponsor of one of the industry's leading conferences," Mr. Falcone said. "American Gaming Summit has a very strong track record and we are excited about the opportunity to help raise the bar for this year's event."

Deutsche Bank will take an active role in shaping the content of the financial portion of American Gaming Summit 2003, inviting conference presenters, including manufacturers, and casino and hotel operators. It is expected that Deutsche Bank will bring more than 100 institutional investors to American Gaming Summit 2003.

"All of the American Gaming Summit producing partners are excited about this partnership with Deutsche Bank," said GEM Communications U.S. President Ashley Smith. GEM and Lionel Sawyer & Collins are co-producers of AGS. "American Gaming Summit has a reputation as the most important gaming event in the industry, bringing together major investors and key gaming executives. Deutsche Bank has become one of the preeminent players in the gaming industry, and we're honored to welcome its exclusive participation in American Gaming Summit."

The complete American Gaming Summit conference lineup will be announced in September. The showcase event at American Gaming Summit 2003 will be the presentation of the Lifetime Achievement Award, which will be given to Philip G. Satre, chairman and chief executive officer of Harrah's Entertainment, Inc. He will be honored at a gala dinner the evening of January 9.

More information will be posted on www.americangamingsummit.com as it becomes available.
